Loudspots measures the audio in LUFS — the same standard broadcasters use — to find moments that would startle.

If anything spikes, you'll get exact timestamps you can tap to preview. If it's clean, you'll know.

Questions, answered softly

What counts as a "loud moment"?

We measure loudness in LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale) — the broadcast standard for perceived volume. When a short segment is meaningfully louder than the video's overall level, we flag it.

Does Loudspots download the video?

We temporarily fetch the audio to analyze it, then discard it. We don't store the video, and we don't share your URLs with anyone.

Why would the same video get re-checked?

It won't. Once a video has been analyzed, the results are cached by video ID so you get instant answers the next time anyone checks it.

Is this a replacement for medical advice?

No. Loudspots is a tool, not a therapist or audiologist. If sound sensitivity is affecting your life, please talk to a qualified professional.
